This booklet looks at the Apostle Paul’s exhortation to pray for government authorities in 1 Timothy 2:1–4 and explores the underlying political theology. By better understanding the role of government within God’s created order, we can better understand how to pray for our leaders and engage in the political process in the fear of our Lord and the love of our neighbor.
